Soy Leila, teacher de las salas de 2 y en esta nota les quiero contar que estamos haciendo en las las clases de Inglés. Primero nos recibimos con alegría cantando ‘Welcome Friends’, canción que ya mandamos en el libro de poesías. Después nos preguntamos como nos sentimos...HAPPY, SAD, SLEEPY, ANGRY? y cantamos ‘If you're happy and you know it...’.
Entonces nos asomamos a la ventana para ver como esta el día y hablamos del clima.... con la ayuda de un Weather Chart, una especie de poster con dibujos de nubes, sol, viento, lluvia...y mientras cantamos ‘What's the weather like today?´
Los chicos se acercan al weather chart para colocar la figura que corresponde (sunny, cloudy o rainy) Todos nos turnamos!
Como estamos aprendiendo los colores (red, blue, yellow y green) realizamos juegos con distintos materiales. Por ejemplo, jugamos a embocar pelotas en bowls de colores y cantamos la cancion ‘Balloons´. Nos desplazarnos por la sala, buscando un color siguiendo una consigna tal como ’Go to RED!’, o buscamos un lugar para sentarnos sobre grandes cuadrados de goma eva de distintos colores.
Aprendemos los números, también, cantando y haciendo rimas que a los chicos les encantan. Comenzamos cantando ´One and two and three and four, now you see me, now you don't´ y jugando al Peekaboo (cubriendonos las caritas) con pañuelos de colores. También nos gusta la rima ¨Sticky bubble gum¨
